Roger ThomasARMITAGEOn 8th September 2023, passed away peacefully at Aden Court Care Home, Roger aged 78 years of Dalton.

Dearly loved Husband of Jenny, devoted Dad of Stuart and James, dear Father-in-law of Michelle and Mandy, a cherished Grandad and Great Grandad and also a good friend to many.

Funeral Service and committal will be held at Huddersfield Crematorium on Thursday 28th September at 10.30am.

Family flowers only by request, donations may be made in lieu if so desired to Kirkwood Hospice for which a plate will be available after the service.

Roger you were a dear friend! You made me laugh and you cared about others. I already miss our chats and will miss working on History projects together. So glad we became friends. Rest in peace free of pain ❤️

Roger was well liked character and a keen historian. He will be missed by all. Roger played a major role in the Colne Bridge mill fire project in 2018, He was a popular' regular visitor to the Royal and Ancient at Colne Bridge. You couldn't fail to like him.
